Here's my mix for April. These tunes are a reflection of this past month. This mix definitely does not subscribe to any format but just enjoy a good playlist for these spring days.
This goes to all those celestial jive turkeys hitting up our grain of cosmic dust. Featuring some of the grooviest, funkiest, dirty deep tracks I've come across this month. So much heart was put into the recording of this set, I hope you all hear it. ENJOY the selection!

This mix was originally intended to be used as a demo for a bar out here. I handed the resident, DJ Fresco, my demo. He asked if it was mixed, I said yeah. In the middle of the bar playlist he puts my demo on. We sit back and have a chat. As we talk, I start seeing people move and dance to my mix. I've put CD's and mixes on before, I'm a seasoned performing DJ, but I've never had another DJ (the resident even) put on one of my demos for everyone to hear in the middle of his night. In my years of DJing, I must say that moment rejuvenated even more love for this thing called House. So I present to you my demo representing Embrace The Creature. It involves EVERYTHING I adore about house music. However, while recording I was intending this to be a CD friendly mix so I chopped it into tracks. There are a few cuts here and there but other than that its a solid mix I'm sure you'll enjoy.

I've been bed ridden for a couple weeks now. The cold weather brings about this inner bear within me that forces me to hibernate for the winter. During these times my music tastes reach downtempo. This mix is a result of my introversion, some music that caught my fancy as I was curled up, keeping warm. This mix was made on a whim, all software, out of my standard laptop speakers. Forgive any roughness in the mix. Enjoy some beats I feel will compliment any kind of seclusion.
