DJ set titled “Angels”, all the tracks were vocal-trance. The title Angels came
from the angelical voices. For Angels

This set contains tracks that were remixed by one of my favorites remixers, the late Peter Rauhofer.
Peter Rauhofer (29 April 1965 – 7 May 2013) was a disc jockey (DJ), remixer and producer who formerly went under the moniker Club 69 as well as Size Queen. A native of Vienna, Austria, he was famous for a variety of his remixes including Cher's, "Believe", and a number of Madonna's songs including "Nothing Really Matters", "American Life", "Nothing Fails", "Nobody Knows Me", "Get Together", "Impressive Instant", and "4 Minutes", as well as her collaboration with Britney Spears, "Me Against The Music" and various collaborations with Janet Jackson, ("Throb," "Just A Little While" to name a few). He has also provided remixes for Whitney Houston, Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Yoko Ono, Pink, Tori Amos, Pet Shop Boys and Mariah Carey. He was also behind the tribal house record label Star 69 and was frequently a producer of the label's releases
Second release of the Nitelife series, now in the vision of Angelika. This release is inspired in Cancun, Mexico. One of the most important touristic destinations in Mexico located in Quintana Roo. It’s a paradisiac place with beautiful beaches, islands and without any doubt an incredible night life. Being this release in charge of Angelika, we could appreciate the distinctive progressive touch of this set. In the same way as the first Nitelife, CD1 portrays the club life while the second CD portrays the Afterparty. We could hear that the mood of CD2 is deeper and denser, while CD1 has a more nostalgic touch and the tracks evokes the concept of “the night club” I hope you enjoy Nitelife 002: Cancun, Mexico as I enjoyed the making.

Everyone that has followed the official Global Underground will recall that GU 032, recorded at Mexico and mixed by Adam Freeland, was a big disappointment. I think that my own Global Underground Mexico 001 and 002 are way better than the official GU 032

Aurora Borealis This is the third release of my Project “Angelika”. I’ve decided to name it “Aurora Borealis” since it’s a very interesting and beautiful atmospheric phenomenon. The auroras are formed from Oxygen and Nitrogen hence the names of both CDs. Both CDs are progressive trance. “Trance” is named that way for the kind of musical trance it generates, and when a dose of progressive is injected the journey becomes more hallucinating and deep. I’ve selected the tracks for the DJ sets in a way that they will take us in a journey across excellent progressive trance productions; this is a journey through the Aurora Borealis and up to the sky.
