New, Sexier and now even Hotter! Energetic breaks and funky house tunes all thrown in to the mixing bowl and baked on gas mark 11 for your complete satisfaction and enjoyment.. turn on, tune in and get your groove on.. it would be Rude Not To... (LeFunk's perfectionist re-mash)
A mix of old classics from the likes of the beatles, eric clapton, arrested development,a skillz, new order, and many many moremixed in a funky breaks style with a touch of soul, hiphop, disco, rock, swing, and more enjoy !!!!
A demo mix I made way back in early 2004. This mix is what you would have heard if you came out to see me at any of the clubs I used to play frequently (in fact, I played a set very similar to this one when opening for DJ Icey, and a few other big name DJs at the time). It's full to the brim with funky breaks (not Florida-style-Funky, more of the Nu Skool/Funky fusion that came out of the Nu Skool breaks explosion aftermath right around 2003-2004). This mix is one of the few that received any "after recording" attention from me (I added a looped intro using Cool Edit, a microphone, and some effects to warp my voice), but aside from that and normalizing the recording, the music and each mix was left untouched and unaltered...straight from my 1200s to your ears. This mix is definitely not one of those "made-to-induce-deep-thoughts" type of mix-sets, but instead a mix to get you dancing and smiling...something that requires minimal thought and maximum time spent on the dancefloor. Hope you enjoy it, please feel free to leave any and all comments below. As always, thanks for listening :)
This is the first mix I've shared on House-Mixes also I have others on SoundCloud. I'm starting 2013 with a club house mix featuring many of the different sounds I've enjoyed during 2012. Tracks include tunes from Electro House, Progressive, French House, Nu-Disco, Moombahton, Bmore & NY Club, Funky Breaks to Electro Funk. Good Dance Music 2 Make U Sweat! Please download & share. Hope U enjoy. I Welcome feedback.
I have always held a special place in my heart for trance/progressive breakbeats. This mix (recorded in early 2001, and never released until just now) is the first volume in a series of trance/progressive breakbeat mixes designed more for the drive home than for the dancefloor. A genre that never truly found a firm foothold in the main rooms or big clubs back in the day, yet it's a genre that nearly all fans of electronic music turn to when they are looking for intelligent, soothing music with lots of changes, sweeping synths, and some of the best remixes ever produced (from the white label remakes of pop tunes to the deeper remixes of some of the trance anthems). This mix was designed for the ride home, the afterparty, the quiet evening at home...but that being said, you WILL find yourself nodding along to the music, and you will feel your heart rate go up as you hear some of your favorite tracks that you never knew had a breaks remix.
Lend me your ears for this one, you won't regret it!
