A playlist prepared for my fanpage group's gathering: www.facebook.com/ClassicDiscoMix at Bogor Bowling Centre on march 2, 2013. I ended up playing something else that evening. Anyway, this is my personal recording session while checking out how long these songs would run altogether before the event. Enjoy!
A recording from my live broadcast at CDM Radio (http://classicdiscomix.com) after surviving a 4,5 hours of heavily congested traffic due to the heavy rains in Jakarta that caused severe flooding everywhere. So I came up with the idea of playing all the songs about "RAIN" be it 70s, 80s, 90s or 00s. Enjoy!
My first 70s Mix. A very challenging one in making. Those who have made 70s disco mix knows what I mean here, and I try to beatmatch these songs instead of just dropping them one after another. Anyway, still got a lot to learn. Enjoy!
Some Javanese Indonesian Folks songs getting some bossanova treatment. Since I like the series so much, I decided to make a tribute for it to celebrating Indonesia's 67th Independence Day on Aug 17, 2012 for Classic Disco Mix fanpage at www.facebook.com/ClassicDiscoMix
Playlists as follows: 1. Terminal Tirtonadi 2. Keno Godho 3. Iklas 4. Cinta Tak Terpisahkan 5. Hat Tanpo Balung 6. Kuncung 7. Layar Kangen 8. Stasiun Balapan 9. Bengawan Solo 10. Gambang Semarang 11. Gethuk 12. Cucak Rowo
My newest Spotlight series. I just remember that I wanted to include Oceana's Endless Summer in this series before. Guess I got carried away and totally forgotten about it during the mixing.
Doing a request from my sister for a mixtape consisting the tracks used in her Les Mill's Bodyjam classes. Some are pop tunes, and some are very heavy electro beats. Enjoy!
Making a request for a friend who's been actively participating and supporting my Facebook fanpage since we started: Classic Disco Mix www.facebook.com/ClassicDiscoMix When he submitted his lists, I only knew 1/3 of it. So it's been quite a challenge to learn and mix these songs since some of them are pretty old, which means mixing them involve a lot of pitchbending. Nevertheless, I was quite happy with the results.
Finally I've got the chance to add the song DIY Disco by Disco Dick in one of my mixes. Been loving this song for a long time but just haven't got the right chance to put in in my mixes. Enjoy the mix!
My attempt to re-make my very first cassette tape that introduce and got me hooked to the disco world back in 1986. Liked it or not, it was quite a challenge to mix using others' playlists. Did my best to make it as interesting as possible despite the zig-zag energy flow. Enjoy!
