WELL THIS IS A COMPLETE 180 FROM THE TYPICAL RANDALL, I HAVE DONE MOST EVERY GENRE IN MY LIFE MANY TIMES SINCE I HAVE BEEN IN THE SCENE BUT NOT WELL KNOWN FOR DOING CHILLOUT OR AMBIENT REALLY ALTHOUGH I LOVE ALL GOOD STUFF NO MATTER WHAT YOU LABEL IT, THIS I WOULD CALL A PART 3 IN THE BEATLESS SLEEP SOUND SERIES OF MINE BUT THIS WAVES AND PITCHES THROUGH TONS OF SOUNDS AND ACTUALLY BEATS KICK IN ABOUT 30 MINUTES IN, I TRY TO END IT CLOSE TO HOW IT STARTED SO YOU CAN PUT ON REPEAT AND CHILL OUT TO, OR GO TO SLEEP 2, I HOPE SOME OF YOU ENJOY THIS, DEDICATED TO ALL MY FANS BUT ONE IN PARTICULAR SANKA HAS BECOME A FAN OF THESE IN THE PAST AND HOPEFULLY THIS ONE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT .....HOPE EVERYONE ENJOYS WORLDWIDE................PLAY LOUDLY FOR YOUR DREAMS SAKE....JRANS 2013
Ladies and gentlemen...please remain calm. You are about to embark on a journey to the very outer limits of ambient music. This 3 hour journey is almost totally beatless and totally immersive.
I have wanted to do an epic ambient mix for a long time now, and this is finally it. It comes in 2 parts, this first part being the 'introduction'. The second introduces the odd beat and is a little more epic in scope (and is coming VERY soon). This isnt a mix for the faint hearted or easily bored. It is,possibly, the deepest mix I have ever undertaken. Those of you who appreciate sweeping, beautiful, drifting, floating ambient music (with a hint of drone...but not too much), then this is for you. I have made it 3 hours not because I think it should be listened to in one sitting (although there is nothing wrong with that), but more so that you can dip in and dip out and take little bits here and there without growing tired of the mix.
As for artists, I will do a full track listing on request, but it features the likes of Aphex Twin, BVDub, Arovane, Nova Nova, Brian Eno, Marconi Umberto, Antonymes, Global Communication, Altus and lots of other obscure underground electronic artists that I have plucked from the ether.
