This set is a tribute to my Dad who died last summer. He used to love to HAM radio with so much power that the signal would make all the appliances in the house talk with his voice. The oven, the phone, the TVs (CRT style), and of course my human brother's stereo would talk with Dad's voice. It made life difficult at times however in one instance my bro recorded what his voice sounded like as it infiltrated his stereo. He let me use this as an intro to my second mix. It sounds really spooky and you can almost make out what he is saying.
Dad never understood dance music. Fact is, this type of techno is simmilar sonicly to the garbage noise one hears on the HAM radio. I'm sure he is out there somewhere and appreciates that his teddy bear thought of him.
Tracklisting:
I have no way of knowing what the tracks are. The guitar center boxes that these records live in have additional 30 pound record boxes on top of them. On top of those boxes are 50 lb Martin MAC moving lights. I can not lift these things, I'm just a teddy bear! My human brother can't lift them either because he just had surgery. You'll just have to take my word for it that theres at least a few Jeff Mills, Oscar Mullaro, and Mike Humphries records in there. My favorite record in there is "Flat and Dry" by Oscar Mullaro.
I chose the Maurice "This is Acid" cord to load into my Casio SK-1 this time.
