A "Best Of Mix" Tribute To A Great Compilation Club Trance & House From Belgium!!! 100 Minutes Of Retro Trance Exclusif Mixed With Original Full Lengh Tracks!!!
MASSIVE OVERDOSE is the final installment of THE PYROCLASTIC FLOW TRILOGY which is a 4 and a half hour mix divided into 3 parts. Part 3 starts with the heavier, darker side of techno(where Part2 'THE JOURNEY' left off) before gradually becoming more uplifting & euphoric as the mix goes on,by the end of it you may wish to start the Pyroclastic Flow Trilogy Trip all over again! The trilogy was made in one session at a private party of ravers in the mid 90s. There were no rehersals, all the mixes are completely off the cuff and most of the records played were picked by the party goers who were exploring the record box and handing Dj Jazz(O.T.T.) whatever record they wanted to hear. The party was taped and years later 3 of the tapes have been found and brought together again to be converted to mp3. This trilogy is now being shared to show that all styles of electronic music can be blended together with the crowd hearing what they want to hear. It seems that there is a certain amount of snobbery among DJs who insist on only playing one style to please themselves. Electronic dance music has been broken into far too many groups,it seems that a new name is being given to a slightly different genre every few months. It used to be simply called either house, techno, jungle or garage but nowadays the list is endless. The trilogy shows that an atmosphere can be created by mixing all genres without the snobbery of not playing a record because its not the style you want to play, which is ridiculous as the main point of a DJ is to please the crowd not just themselves. I sound kind of bitter in my old age,but its cool i'm not really bitter,i'm just becoming a grumpy auld man lol. Tune in and enjoy the jazzy mixture of sounds, this is your Order To Trance.Peace.
