King Felix is a live Electronic Band that incorporates synths and electric violin in their sets. They also make their own visuals from scratch, which can be seen in their music videos. A versed group in musical styles, sometimes you'll hear a mean Hip-Hop oriented tune and then next an up tempo Electro-House tune that will blow your minds. King Felix has released their first official album titled "The Healing Code," you can find it for sale on their band camp atkingfelix.bandcamp.com. This album is the creation of their Glitch-Hop, Chillwave, and Downtempo tunes. King Felix has performed mainly in the Southern California area at venues such as the Graduate in San Luis Obispo and Art Galleries in Downtown LA such as Groundfloor. Being in the production studio phase all summer, King Felix is ready to hit the concert circuit scene again and they are searching for bookings now. Check them out while they are fresh. Nineties Five Star Beats part 1 A somewhat eclectic mix of my favorite tracks through the 1990s, including some progressive house and trance, hip hop, dancehall reggae, and a few mainstream club tracks. I arranged the tracks harmonically and with a build in energy through the set, with a few breaks into the hip hop 100bpm range, finishing with energetic house and a remixed Lords of Acid tune. I didn't used any grunge or rock tracks that also really defined the decade, since those are better suited to an iTunes playlist than a mix. t recorded the mix in early autumn 2012 using a VCI-400 4-track controller and Traktor pro 2.0. This is issue 1 in a series of 4 mixes in this series. I did not include a track listing because the software on this website doesn't properly handle uploads, and my last upload took 45 minutes to enter the track lasting then failed to properly upload and I had to restart from scratch.
