Venture thru the Underworld of darker regions of the psyche, guided by the words and music of The Jesus and Mary Chain. This DJ mix is made up of cover versions of Jesus and Mary Chain songs. Songs covered where mostly recorded from around time time of their incendiary debut album 'Psychocandy' - one of the aims of the mix is the capture something of the ripple effect of this album. Guitar feedback mixes with trumpets, accordion, piano, cello, string quartet and orchestra; the themes of nihilism, unrequited love and existential angst threaded throughout the mix come to resolution in the coda in the final part of the mix.
