So ... been listening to a whole lot of R&B and Hip-Hop over the last few weeks. There's a lot of good stuff out there, from US and UK artists, and I wanted to pull together a mix that reflected what's happening in that area. Urban music hasn't been this good since the heyday of Dre ten years ago (check out my Dre-oriented mixes California Rappin and Smoov Grooves). This mix will be getting a lot of play time in the motor, now that the weather has turned a bit spring-like. So if you hear the sounds of Kendrick Lamar or A$AP Rocky coming up behind you ... it'll likely be me.
