The first in a small series of House Mixes I'm doing from a BIG collection of someone else's vinyl. For anyone who was following my Louie Vega stuff, that will be up next week!
Michaela had a tape that was etched Es Paradis. We had no idea who had
done it, but she's had the tape since the 90s. Anyway we love it so
much, but the recording is so poor, that i've spent a while re-creating
the tape with original recordings. No idea who the original DJ was but
its a garage mix from heaven.
I think 2004. This time I went a bit more up tempo... not sure why, a bit more arghhhh. Nice though, but not really me. I like hands in the air happy tunes
The set i played in December as part of The Northern Project event at WH1 club in Blackburn ... recorded today as i found the tracklist ... i hope peepz like it \o/

a set i played on Renegade Radio last night ... recorded today without voice-overs to spoil the mix ... with Dream Frequency, Piano Junkies, Rhythm On The Loose, Tony de Vit and loads more ... i really enjoyed playing it, i hope peepz like it \o/
Again, here I'm name dropping, not my usual style, but it seems to get people listening? Again, this has some lovely House gems! After 3 attempts with this, it is now ready, I've dropped a couple of overplayed tracks; it's all the better for it.

I'm not one who likes to name drop, BUT, I think need to mention Louie Vega again? If only to highlight some of the outstanding Tunes on here?He picked the tracks from which this Mix is made up from, I merely took the best ingredients from that to create a work of art!Look out for; The Reese Project, Nick Holder, Gerideau among many gems in this Mix.

This for anyone who used to go to TinTins in Birmingham in the mid 90s! The story of this Mix is pretty interesting. I bought these tracks on a CD, back in the day. I think I sold it? But I ended up with a Mix tape of, I found it the other day and played it. I thought I'd love to get those tracks again! I went online and saw it at £18 on Amazon. But then I saw it on Ebay for £6, so I bought it and Mixed it! So here it is! For anyone back in the 90s who went to any Hard House 'after hours' Clubs, you too might remember some of these TUNES!
