This is my
dance mix for the next party. I really enjoy it to find out that old tracks and
current material work together very well. But also in this mix I decided to focus on the
older one. Only about 4-5 tracks have been produced in the last 5-6 years.
Another difference is that the main part of the mix is in the 128-130 BPM range.
Some of the
tracks are Jackin or Funky stuff. Many
vocals too, but it is not overloaded.

This is an idea I had, when I check some newly downloaded tracks. Why
not create a mix of some good songs from the last few weeks internet
search. Surprisingly I found a lot of stuff sounding like old classic house, but is manly newly produced. Otherwise there a some older tracks which fit very well the
feeling of the new retro sound. 2/3 of the mix is in 125 BPM the other tracks
have 128 BPM. I give it to you, Just for the joy of mixing :-) If you like, hear also the last third of the mix, is more powerful, and ending with a cool classic underground tune.
My lovely mate Stacey asked for a cheer-up mix of all her fav tunes, and this is the result - Straight from the Jez house factory with Stacey fuelling me with red stripe, cherry tobacco cigarettes and dancing throughout the mix :o) God bless ya Stace xxx
