Kicking 2 - Passie (Hard Kicks Only)This is one for the starting producers out there.
Made a lil track with only kicks that i made last week.
Kicking 1 had longer kicks for tail use ,this one has more impact kicks.
And every kick is a lil different in this one.
Most kicks that i used to create this were Goa like kicks.
Because Goa like kicks have a solid impact of the kick.
Distort that and use some effects on it ,
I used the free mda loudness vst and some distorion plugins on top of each other :)
Not cut clean ,so there might be some pops at the end of some kicks.
But if you want to use it then you need to cut every kick separately any way.
But no other drums or sounds on top of it.
So could be useful for some starting hard house producers.
I didn't put too many fx on this one
So ones you cut out a single kick you can still put trash on top of it.
I did not use trash on these because then its easier for you to give it your own character.
And i didn't use any reverb eighter to keep the sounds short
That way you get a clean start of the kick at most spots.
So not starting with the echo of the reverb of the kick before it
Imo its best to not sample the reverb
Because the reverb makes the sounds longer
So that's useful for when you want to make note changes with the kick
The sample gets shorter if you play higher tones but reverb makes em sound longer
So imo best not sample the reverb to keep control of the length of the kick
Hope some can find a use for some of these
I made about 3000 kicks to get me some nice starting kick to work with
So obviously not all kicks are top notch
These are the blocks to work with
Made to layer various kicks on top of each other
1 kick giving the punch and another that has a good tail
Then put trash or another of your fx on top of that
Put the eq on it that you like most
And then you can sample it to get you your own kick
