The first in a series of mixes attempting to put together all the trax that inspired me, that I got people dancing to and that I danced to! I've put this off for years as it's such a hard thing to do, what are classics to me might mean nothing to others. Also if I was to do a true mix for each year there'd be all sorts of music in there but I just wanted these to be house mixes. It's taken me months to get right and have used 99% original vinyl so forgive a few crackles. Hopefully they'll bring back some happy memories and maybe teach a few people about where it all began! I'm sure there'll be things on here that people disagree with or great stuff missing but everyone has their own perspective of the past and what moves them. This is mine.
