May 10, 2014 Mosey Off The Beaten Path

We have a monthly festival here in the warmer months called "Mosey Down Mainstreet". There are several stages of performers, vendors, artists, and local businesses. The close several blocks of Main Strret and everyone just mosies down main street. This year, and as far back as I can remember, there has been an EDM tent. This was my first time playing at the Mosey and we dubbed our tent "Off the Beaten Path". Here is my set from this past weekend. 

Side notes:

Some people seem to care (and many don't) about equipment used so here is the run down: I always use my CDJ 200's, and an Allen & Heath Xone 42 mixer. I have no auto sync or waveforms on my CDJ's. This mix and all my others are done by ear and much practice. The only time I use a laptop, is when I need to run Audacity to record my mixes, or when I run my new tracks through mixed in key. I started using mixed in key in October of 2013. It is by far the best way I have found to organize a large CD collection. It can be very time consuming since I do not use software and controllers to mix with, but well worth the effort.  I hope you enjoy this tech house mix and please leave some feedback.
