This mix includes the fun music I’d love to hear to break up the beat and a couple of smoochies so you get close and feel the heat. Also 2 great covers from Stacey Lattishaw, 2 pumping numbers from The Salsoul Orchestra and T Connection but the star of the show Van McCoy and no Hustle yet he still sounds great.

OPENING TRACK!!! - Take the classic, "Moon River 1961" and add the orchestra strings and the 70s disco cadence. 2:27 mark - "Over the Rainbow 1939." 6:38 - COMPLEX instrumentation. 8:40 - CINEMATIC! Female vocals, the accompaniment gives the vocals way more significance. 13:00 - Notice the vocal chants, change of tempo and themes, lite saxophone as well. Keith, hearing this I am surprised McCoy didn't compose anything for "The Wiz" on Broadway or the movie. 22:00 - SWINGS!!! Bass guitar throughout, more sax, wait for the keyboard solo (molten lava hot)!!! 27:05 - Xylophone. 29:47 - DISTORTED NON-LINEAR FUNK!!!!!!!! The percussion and bass guitar sequencing and phrasing has funk elements, but not in a congruent format. You think it doesn't work until you're like, "Man this kinda swings." Not really dance floor swing, but ease up and lay down some ju ju turning into a grave situation feel. 35:40 - YEAH MAN!!!!!! Duo gender vocals, slick bassline. Bedroom business tempo 70s style. 40:50 - And then of course the making love scene. The strings, watch any drama from 1975 to 1979, you'll get it. Has the phrasing from the Diana Ross classic, "Mahogany (Do You Know Where You're Going To 1975)." 45:23 - Female vocals, kill a kid in puberty who ain't lived long enough to know. 49:40 - Notice the cadence and think about the group YMCA....you see lol? 54:50 - The bassline has been sampled quite a bit. The trumpet, male vocals, and the chorus....SPICY!!!!! 58:43 - Percussion solo is tight and wait for the bass guitar. This has that dreamy vibe. 60:25 - IT AIN"T HARD TO TELL!!!!! Male vocals, roll this one out...YA MOVIN" SOMETHIN"!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 64:11 - This has that galloping cadence that is catchy. It will remind you of Maxine Nightingale's, "Right Back Where We Started From 1975." 67:40 - Female vocals, another slow steamer up close and personal on the disco floor. 71:10 - Familiar era bassline cadence on this one. Ray Conniff, "Somewhere My Love 1966" you better check that one musicheadz. 79:27 - Male vocals, easy going vibez on this one. Slick guitar and synth, The Commodores deffo pulled influences from this. 83:03 - CODA!!!!!! Familiar era percussion sequence. Conquistador vibe with the trumpet sequences; spanish female vocals....still spicy.

- Any fan of the orchestra strings to accompany the 1970s disco era movement will enjoy this journey. This piece truly takes you beyond McCoy's international hit into the diverse arrangements that powered the indulgence. 85 mins...30 secs...BEYOND THE HUSTLE!
