Bio
The passion to play and perform music started young, aged seven. Childhood experiments with mini-keyboard sounds proved good enough to grant a birthday wish for a full-sized keyboard. After an unfortunate bucket-of-water related incident 4 years later, a decision was made to try a new instrument. The 80s were big on rock, so the guitar seemed a natural (and cheaper) progressive direction. Played lead guitars for various school and college bands, during which time also learned the drums and the bass; then went on to vocal exercises to try out as a vocalist. Success! Experimented with sounds of blues and jazz, until the mid-90s, when the electronic sound kicked in. Spent extensive years listening to and trying to spin (on a friend's decks) drum n' bass, ambient, trip-hop, trance and techno. Friend moved away, took the decks, so after a prolonged hiatus, forayed into the digital sound, practicing mixing on software. In early 2008, after much deliberation, decided to invest in decks and is now playing genres ranging from deep house, to minimal tech and dirty electro. This is just the beginning...
