A big part of this mix was done a few weeks ago when I was drinking too much (it happens). Decided to finish this mix tonight while not drinking (doesn't happen as often). Anyway, like the 1988 Megamix, it is NOT a definitive mix of 1986, it is just pulling songs out of my 1986 iTunes playlist and doing what I can to make an enjoyable mix. This mix will clearly identify Pet Shop Boys Please as my favourite album of 1986, and Duran Duran Notorious and OMD's The Pacific Age not far behind. Again, not a definitive 1986 playlist, just something you might like.
The goal was 30 songs under 80 minutes. This is a megamix, after all.
There are a couple of volume normalizing issues that annoy me in this mix, but they're minor and not worth fixing. It's not like I get paid to do this. :D
