Here's something I put together for a House-Mixes listener who wanted a remix of this great song from Electronic. I really tried to make it a dance remix, but that never worked - so I went for an effects-type remix with looping that doubles the length of the song to 8 minutes.
The software I used for this kind of mixing is:
A) Mixmeister - for the looping
B) Audacity - for the effects
I do these remixes for enjoyment and don't profess for a second to be a pro at this.
i haven't listened to it yet (i'm at work, atm), but you have my utmost respect because, regardless of any "professional" status or lack thereof, the mixes i've heard are very good. and holy crap, i still can't believe you did this one so quickly! and for me! :-) you have my utmost appreciation! thank you. i'll let you know what i think of it later, after i get home from work & have a chance to listen to it.
