Bio
When in the 80's the craze of Housemusic came from the U.S. to Europe, the native-born in Kiel, Alban Berg still was not in "celebration capable" age. Anyway he was incredibly fascinated by this new sound - this powerful, bass-heavy sound and the equally powerful bass drum, drilled directly into the stomach, so that the legs began to shake immediately. He eagerly pursued the DJs who put the party people into ecstasy and he knew: "Someday I'll be up there, too." His enthusiasm for music, he acted out as a chorister first. The impressions of many concert tours through Israel, Italy and Scandinavia, but also privat journeys to the Indian Ocean or to Miami shaped him until today and it is now also reflected in his mixes. One day it was the time. Alban produced his first track. First of all his homage to the horror film series "Saw" cought up the attention of the fetish label “Cyberesque” and used the track “Das Spiel ist eröffnet” in October 2007 for their show at the Hustla Ball at KitKatClub, Berlin. In April 2008 Alban had his first appearance during the Party "Family Affair" as a live act at the Salzclub, Berlin This was followed by further bookings at FATEclub, Alte Kantine (Berghain), Lizzard Lounge (formerly known as MfE) and the Berlin-beats on basslover.de. His focus was on Progressive Psytrance and Techno. For professional reasons, a longer pause was needed. Alban did not spent his time idly. He used this opportunity to try out new styles. Apart from Techno he now mixes House and Tech-House. The large variety of this kind of electronic music offers so many opportunities to develop. In October 2010 he returned back on the DJ-desk and celebrated at Brunnen70 for the Party Boobs, Brain & Bollox his comeback. Within minutes, the first guests were with him, to thank him sincerely, that he has returned. The sound of Berlin is not hard to miss. Anyway his mixes - a mixture of Tech- and Minimal house combined with Electro and Progressive – has a process of its own dynamics. Be talked about as a insider tip, Alban now surges ahead capturing the dancefloors allover Europe. Asking him why, he explained: "Before I started djing, I always looked longingly at Berlin. Now I have the chance bringing a bit of Berlin into the world. House and techno were and are my biggest passion. They exude a spirituality that I share unconditionally with my audience.
