In the wake of the recession of the late eighties kids of all ages released their frustration to a new sound condemned to the deeper bellies of the underground. Unstoppable, parties popped up all over the place; in remote warehouses, blocked-off tunnels, in the basements of old abandoned boxing-schools, much to the frustration of the existing establishment. Normally I play anything from the sexed-up house tunes to rolling techno. But, as we find ourselves in a new recession I liked looking back at where it all started, for me as a dj and to the heyday of hardcore. Tunes played back in the day still pack a punch and with tongue firmly in cheek I shake my fist at the new establishment. We have not lost our will to shake things up. Bring back the underground. Release your anger!!!
