I've noticed a new competition and I've immediately decided to submit my mix.
My selection criteria is very simple: I've choosen my favorite genre (progressive house) and only tracks that I really love.
Furthermore, half of the tracks are mashups made by me in the last year: winning this competition will be a prove that I'm walking on the right path and that's really important for an aspirant DJ like me.
I've never played in a club. In Italy newcomer DJs must bring people to the club, no matter if they can't mix properly or if they know only commercial tracks, and that's definitely something against my will: I prefer to be noticed for my dj skill, not for my PR abilities, and this type of competition is the best way to be noticed!
