One of my Faves this one! Pretty much off the cuff, although some of the tracks were already out of the box, ready for a 'tape!!' there was no set planned. When you consider the decks were almost on the floor, and the speakers were tiny little PC speakers, turned right down, I reckon I done good on this one! I've thought about re-mastering the whole thing, as there's a couple of rough bits, and a few mixes that could easily be improved, but isn't that just cheating?!?! By listening to the people around me for so long, I've got to realise that, possibly my best attribute as a DJ is, the pure rawness, and 'live' feel you're almost gauranteed, when I hit the wheels!! The mixture of genres, and the length of time between the track produced first, and last, is pretty amazin' on this; it's almost unoticeable when your listening to it! I'd say it was a house mix if I had to label it, I hop you enjoy listening, as much as I enjoyed making it :
