Another old session finally ripped off CD to upload online for the first time ever, this time we go all out soulful house with plenty of Saxophone. The CD label of Shallow Mansions 3, I am guessing means a 3rd mix recorded at the original Shallow Mansions which perhaps dates this one as 2003/2004. Certainly all the vinyl tracks here were all typical of my sets back then, especially the “Open Your Eyes” track, which was a real favourite and regular on my playlists.
The session could have been one of those weekend trips down to Needle to the Groove, bag a load of new vinyl, come home and record a mix with them to help me remember which tracks are which.
