Good Vibes 086 - Far & Wide

Far and Wide is how far we had to go hunting this week, with what seemed a very quiet week for top new releases, what we have found is some little gems from a broader range of styles including one track which we believe could be a massive hit. Heat, the percussion driven and uplifting club track convinces also with a great vocal performance of NOMFUSI, famous South African actress and singer who sings about one hot day in Africa. Nomfusi is also known for her performance as Miriam Makeba in the Nelson Mandela movie called "Long Walk To Freedom".

On the remix duty our in-house buddy CALIPPO contributes with a latin flavored club mix. He adds some smooth nylon guitar strums as well as a tremolo mandolin lick that supports the great vocals in the break downs before the mix takes off and drops with funky house beat patterns and a deep low-end bass line.
