Mixed in 2018. A year after the passing of one of my favourite vocalists i figured a mix of some of his finest moments was in order. Because of the wide range of styles Al encompassed this mix covers jazz, soul, funk, pop and even a couple of house remixes. He wasn't frightened of "getting down with the kids". I saw Al at the Manchester Apollo in (i think) the late 80's. It is still my favourite concert to date and unlikely to be surpassed. If you like Al's music i hope this mix grooves you. If you dont know who the hell he is........give it a listen. It may change your life. Enjoy.
