One - Bee Gees (12" ROBOT 59 EDIT)

I read today that Barry Gibb is going out on tour in support of the Bee Gees 'Mythology' 4 CD set compilation.

The Bee Gees are one of my all-time favorite groups. They have been making hits since the early 60's. After the success of the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack, they were caught up in the disco backlash, labeled a 'disco act' and have had limited chart success since then. That's a shame...because the whole time they have been making great music (check out the 'Mythology' CD's if you have any doubts).

With Robin and Maurice now gone, I felt it was time to break out a tune released in the 80's but, strangly enough, was not included in the 'Mythology' package. That song is 'One'. The original 12" mix was ok...but had a tendency to be a little less than user friendly for DJ's. I loved it when it was released and did a re-EQ'd edit of the song when I received the 12" mix. This is the result.
