Review:
I am not really sure about the meaning behind the sampled speech at the beginning of this mix. But then again, I suppose you will make of it what you will. That’s what it’s there for I suppose.
This is a mix of nicely selected chill out vibes that would suit most chill out rooms, the tunes are well selected and all blend well together. Not the most difficult tracks to
mix given the lack of vocals.
Around the half hour mark the mix deepens, taking you away from the chill out room slightly, if only for just a couple of moments, uplifting you to a nodding head level. Not an extreme change in style, but, noticeable never the less. I think it works. If you’ve seen the sun set at the bay, you will understand what I am feeling.
Well mixed throughout, this is a nice little number. Undertones of bleeps and bass push this mix forward. This is stirred not shaken chill. I’ll have a large one, thanks.
Picking the pace up nicely this evolves well. There are a great selection of tracks, and the track on 41 mins crowns the atmosphere off very nicely. I tip my hat to you DJ. I’m out of chill out room now, without even noticing myself stepping onto the dance floor. I’m off my seat, nodding along to the beat. God Bless house music! Because it is the feeling.
And before I could write about the absence of a vocal the mix hits one. Nuff said…..
So what’s missing you might ask… Well all I can think of is …Lights, camera, action. Roll VT, let’s get on one.
