Here is a mix after buying "100 oldskool records" from Ebay. This is actually the second mix, where I focussed on the hardcore records in the stack, rather than the italian house (see first mix).  I have not had the records long enough to know them well, so the mixing was a bit on the safe side, but it felt like a good mix. The sale came from a guy who was a working DJ in 1991 around Manchester, and made a few billings, so maybe this set has been played out before! The set has some  real classics, but not well known anthems if you know what I mean. Plenty of white labels. Its a good mixture of piano / hard / rave, just like it would have been played in 1991 before the music split in to sub genres. I found some real gems in this batch, a few I had not heard before, so hope you enjoy.

I am pleased to start the mix with the (debut?) track by the Sunset Regeme, which if you know made the Fantazia album, 'The first taste'. I first heard the track on that album, and always though what an excellent track it was. I dont think they ever topped it, even though they were activly releasing stuff for the next few years. Think they were from Southampton, as was I 5 years ago.

I cant remember a full track list but here is an idea of the mix.

Sunset Regeme , SOUR, Toxic 2, Union city recordings, SLAM 1, Gems for Gem, Greed, DJ  Tango, Boyzland, Kid Unknown.

I have FORM005. I don't know where I put it though as it's not with the rest of my formations. I actually wanted to see which one it was. :p

Never mind I found it. I have FORM12025. It's the good remix of "Can't Stop the Rush" :)
