Bio
It’s been almost seven years since he’s on the go in Budapest-Hungary, although he started to deal with music way before. He jumped into electronic music in 1998, so techno and psy were swept over him also as breaks and drum & bass, then later he derived solace from house. First he was crazy about well-known and popular progressive-house, but later he grabbed some mixes of Palotai and Naga in his hands. These musical materials were not easy to get in those times, while he was still spending his days in Székesfehérvár. He went through a huge change of taste in music when, from weeks to weeks, heading home with a tired head, he entered ARC Café to have a drink and listen to Crimson’s set. The music spinned by Crimson was showing him the way – but Swain was still walking on the good old path of progressive house. Five years ago he had the pleasure to meet with Two-B-Music’s Steven M, who’s got completely driven by Swain’s promo mix – even on the next week they were playing together. Their common subject-matter was exquisite underground house music which they tried to share with the ladies and gentleman at more and more places. During the summer of 2007 these two were spinning in Budapest’s Millenáris park every Saturdays from the afternoon to midnight, receiving lots of positive feedbacks. Mr. Swain got the first blow during the May of 2007, when Frank Wiedemann, the half of the duo Âme was standing behind the decks on a beautiful night. The next and also final switch came in August – during a set presented by Dixon under the stars… and everything have changed, he knew he was looking for this sound, and he found it then. His special taste - which is undeservingly unknown in Hungary - appealed to the guys of Two-B-Music, since then his name is making the palette of „Artists” more colourful. From time to time he emerges in the booth of parties and radios of Lick The Click!, Ablak-A-Dubra, Cökxpôn, Tilos, Justmusic.FM, Tripla, Artkatakomba, Mono, Merlin, Chachacha, Pántlika. Swain’s music can travel you to distant beautiful places, it is full with sensual and lovely sounds – no wonder since Swain is crazy for contemporary modern jazz too. This is what gives him relief, energy and spirituality from the „other side”. His taste can be best described as surreal undergound house music dressed in our times’ soutane. ' See U in the light.. '
