Got some real treats for you people this time; a mix packed with uplifting tunes. It's really a coincidence that several of the songs has the word "sun" in them, but that pretty much sums up this part of HS; loads of feel good, uplifting house now that summer finally has arrived :)
Kicking off with some fantastic live congas, guitars and vocals and moving on with some truly feel-good house from both past and present. If you're into disco-house, make sure to check out the brilliant bootleg remix of Candi Staton's "You Got The Love" by Sly Spinners - an absolutely amazing disco-house number that was only released in a very, very limited quantity on 12" and is a real gem (starts around 49 minutes in). Also, a new remix of Marc Evans by Knee Deep that's definitely worth a listen, plus some real piano-driven bangers for those late hours :)
This time I'm ending the mix with some big-room bombs set to lift the roof this summer. I'll be heading down to Ibiza in a few weeks time so this might be my last mix for the summer, unless there are loads of quality releases the next two weeks.
