Favourites from the last couple of months.
The recent years I have seen myself going from the soulful side of things, mixed in with disco for good measure, over to deep and nu disco - mixed together if possible - to slightly venture a bit deeper on this last installment of House Sessions. Starting out on the mellow side with an unreleased track from D.S.F. I build towards the deeper end of the pool with Dusky + KANT, all while slightly touching some tech-ish stuff from the excellent German producer Andre Lodemann who sees his debut release on DFTD. Moving on I absolutely love the Anturage release (out on Dear Deer now) and a proceeding with a deep/big room tune from Mr. Bassline himself; Hot Since 82. Nearing the end now, what I expect to be one of this years biggest tunes; the fantastic Henrik Schwarz remix of Chasing Kurt - amazing (out now on Defected)! Slightly touching Niels Nuernberg's techy/big room/deep monster "The Morning Slap", ending it all with the soothing vocals of Terri Walker on a soulful note. Lovely way to round things off.
