A mix which brings together a lot of things I've been practicing with over the years, including my ability to improvise over the top during the master mix-down, which I do quite a lot in subtle hopefully enhancing ways. Biggest issue with this mix was the equalization on the bass is incorrectly set in places and I lost the original so I cannot remaster.
Starts off with a blend of samples from Tarsem Singh's "The Fall" which is supported by Underworld's "To Heal" which I add to with some synths from Ableton, a drum loop which drops into Derek Howell's "Sick Day Getaway". Additional samples taken from Vincent Gallo's inimitable Buffalo '66. I had to leave the US to return to England when i ran into visa trouble and the in-flight captain samples where from the outbound flight just before landing in London.
Its far from perfect, naive in places for sure...but i had fun crafting.
