Tech House...hmmmm. I was unsure about what part of this genre I should go for when selecting a few tracks. Am I gonna go with those low garage warehouse basslines from the late 90's, the new trippy and complex minimal sounds or those tribal drums banging hard and heavy?? So at the end I decided to just pick some of my all time favorite Tech-House goodies....and.....ended up with a million and two tracks..lol! Don't you just luuuuuve this genre. Tech house has got so many cool sub-genres and for me as a DJ it's the ultimate creative tool. Many would agree they wish there were more time but it's a competitin and that means go out guns blazing haha. I tried to fit as many tracks but by not making it sound rushed. Also used "surprise" drops, a little effects, quick and long transitions as much I could having the time given. Made the set progress to keep them people stay on the dancefloor! Did 3 sets....chose this one at the end as I think it will be the perfect "big crowd" set for everyone's taste. Some old and fresh beats from some of the producers in the bussines ...it's a raw set...but that's how I like it...hope you also do Thank you for tuning in good luck to all who's entered. :D

Without having heard your other 2 tech house comp selections, I think U made the right choice. This will definitely appeal to a wider group of tech house fans and even non traditional listeners. Why, because this mix feels more like a party... and what do people do at parties; they dance. As ususal your mixes are clean, technically sound with top quality; however, I can tell you were really wurkin' it here and having a bit fun at the same time. First off I love the intro, as you know i love starts to my mixes, and as i love starts to others....I AM going to be honest i feared listening to this, because Tech house in most cases bores the snot out of me, you really have to be creative to keep me intrigued, i knew once the intro started and the words came in, and YES EVERYONE WANTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS TO BE A DJ, actually embarasses me sometimes to say i do, because most make me feel silly i am involved in the scene............aqnyway this mix kept me glued, first of all the vibe and feel, and not letting the length of a track get involved..........you mixed in and out like frisco does, seeming through the landscape and putting it down........i actually listened to this whole thing and was very very happy to hear you went this route, lets be frank this was interesting, the other 2 you did, probably were the tech house i am talking about that is overly simple and not intelligent.............this was an older flavor feel at a party,,,,,,,,,,,i will listen to this again.....and actually nod in approval.......i am a huge fan of yours, and look forward to your mixes, this was no disapointment, it was exciting, i must now listen to some others to see how i believe this should win.....just because you took the time to be different and give it a flare that is not the normal bore fest.......as i am not much of a fan in this genre by any stretch, i will admit sometimes i find tech house tracks i enjoy.......i just get tired quick....THIS IS OLE PARTY DAY POPPER STUFF.....feel,.....as now not just cause i love you but my vote is here...i will tune into others but im getting a feeling its going to be that vibe i just cant stand for more than 10 minutes.......but i just ate all 3510 of this viber right hizzzzearrrrrr...big ups frisco....keep being original...the day you slip to most of these so calleds is the day i fly to cape town and venture over to your crib wherever you live no matter how far from the cape........and bring a hammer to your decks...........J RANS

First let me thank you for really taking the time and listening to my mix! Its not always I get comments from a fellow DJ who enjoys the craft and not to mention take the time and really listen. For me it really means a lot and I try to associate myself with those who are passionate which is hard to find with so many wanna-be Dj's out there; just look at the post from the moderators of the site having to kick out another fake DJ who stole another dj's work... Anyway... getting to you mix, I took the time and listened to your mix, I have to say, you nailed it... im a sucker for intros and simply love this one!!! I love the programing... Like Jason Randall mentioned, Tech House can some how get boring and that's not the case with this mix. I like my sets to have a bit of rhythm to it and i like to keep interesting... regardless what genre I play these days, I like to have some real move movement of vibe... This my riend is not a boring mix at all keep up the great work definitely following you as well!!

Dem' drums, a Sicko Frisco staple. 15:45 - Menacing enough to have a nun getting creamy. 20:15 - Pffffttttt.... criminal. 23:05 - Lmao......smh.....it took 15 bouncers to get her to leave. 29:25 - All this in under 45 minutes. 31:30 - Iron synth drops and that female vocal loop. - If you're new to the scene out here and got some jump in ya... press play, you'll know. 35 mins...10 secs...
Don't really know what I can say on here what hasn't been said already!! Was a great mix, pumping from start to finish. Loved every track. Told the story... Good intro, great middle and nice end! Roll with the winners!
