Going to start uploading all of my drum & bass sets here over the coming [weeks?], starting with this one.
Legendary Liquid is an occasional series I started at the end of 2014, intended to showcase the achievements of individuals who have either made a name for themselves, or are an up-and-coming talent, in the field of drum & bass. So far the series has paid homage to Calibre (2 mixes!), Pennygiles and Lurch.
This one, completed today, is the 5th volume in the series and marks my 100th set over on Mixcloud. What better way to celebrate that fact than with a set dedicated to the musically rich, emotionally charged, evocative drum & bass of Peter Rogers & Andy Powell aka Technimatic.
I've taken a small cross-section of their collective output from over the years for this set, with material taken from their earliest beginnings right up to their latest LP release (out this week), which is well-worth a listen. I will definitely be returning to this dynamic duo for a 2nd set soon...
