My journey as a DJ began in the UK, sparked by my first clubbing experience where I was captivated by a DJ's ability to blend tracks effortlessly. This moment ignited my passion for music and motivated me to embark on a career in DJing. I took my first steps in 2007 by downloading a free legal version of Virtual DJ, which allowed me to mix live online and experiment with various genres. I have been doing this a looooong time (45+ years) and all those years have been club/festivals/raves. Started during the Disco era, loved/embraced and dj'ed the New Wave/New Romantic scene and have been spinning House since House was House. I like to say that I am the best dj you have never heard of. I am a true Old School Style DJ... Started DJing while attending South Gate High back in 1985. Back when KDAY was an AM radio station, and had TonyG as one of the their DJs. In fact it was after seeing TonyG DJing at La Casa Camino Real (off of Washington and Oak in Downtown LA) that I began to start DJing myself. Over the years I have mixed at several of the known clubs in Hollywood, Los Angeles, El Monte, Huntington Park, Long Beach, and several other cities within LA / Orange counties. Than for about 15 years I worked as a Freelance Lighting Audio, Video tech, and DJ as well, providing my DJing services in in the Special Events industry. Most of which were weddings, private parties, and corporate events. I mix both English and Spanish music with a music library of over 80,000 songs covering most genres of music from the most current hits of today and going back as far as the 50's & 60's. I recently moved to Reno, Nevada to be close to my parents who are getting up there in age, so I could spend quality time with them in their remaining years.

Growing up as a deejay in the best clubs of Rome alternates on the premises between the north and south of Italy Will often be abroad for collaborations with big European clubs. Ibiza, Formentera and Salento are his favorite summer retreat where you can hear its sound. His music is distinguished by refined sound but versatile depending on the type of evening. Aperitifs and pre-disco-beat to the rhythm of Brazilian, Nu-Jazz, Elektro-Jazz.. alternate with dj-set in the disco club with groove rousing Afrobeat, Afro House, Deep Tech, Tech-House, Techno, are his unique style.

Since I was 14 years old I really love perfect mixing! As DJ Da Wick I started in the early 80s with soulful & funky tunes. And then house music stept into my life. Boom - what is that? Marshall Jefferson, Farley "Jackmaster" Funk, Jesse Saunders and others changed my stile of music. All these Traxx on DJ International or Trax Records were absolutely out of space. Thank God I could be part of that time "when house music was born". And than it came Acid, Deep House, Soulful House and all that good stuff. It was an incredible time and i was allowed to experience it. In the late 80th, 90th & 2000th I was resident DJ in different clubs in Germany. One of it was the famous Checker's Club in Düsseldorf. Here I played for Claudia Schiffer, Heidi Klump or Mick Hucknall from Simply Red. I will always remember that time. Now I'm doing some mixes from time to time just for the love of music. DJ Cubanito is a Latin remixer and producer based in Houston, Texas. He is currently rated # 60 (12-14-11) on the World DJ list in the "Open Format" category. Alex Carmenates is DJ Cubanito, a well known Latin DJ around the world, showcasing in clubs across the US, such as, The Church (Denver), South Beach (Houston), Score and Twist (Miami Beach), WetBar (Atlanta), Ibiza (Miami Beach), and many others in Europe, such as, Republika De Cuba (Romania), Kaufleuten (Zurich), La Isla (Stokholm), Avenue 1 (Guthemburg) Art Cafe (Madeira), El Mexicano (Funchal), Mexico, Canada, South America, and at the Caliente and Antillense Festivals held in Zurich, Switzerland and Hoogstrante, Belgium. He was contracted in 2008 to be the opening DJ for all the Thalia High Voltage Tour concerts in Texas. He was also a mix show DJ at KQQK 106.5 FM in the late 80s achieving # 1 status on Arbitron for his Saturday night "Party Mix" in Houston, Texas. DJ Cubanito has been recognized as one of the major forces in breaking Freestyle and House music in Huston in the early 80s and 90s. In those early days of his career he was known as Alex C. Cubanito has produced an array of official #1 club scorchers in 2008 & 2009, including Luis Fonsi's award winning "Aqui Estoy Yo" and Paulina Rubio's "Causa & Efecto". As Morpheous Van Susteren, Cubanito teamed up once again with Albert Castillo (Solitaire/AlBRich) to produce Gloria Trevi's 1 summer of 2008 club scortcher, "Psicofonia".
