Michael Samardjiev a.k.a. Dj Mixi Mike, was born in 1976 in Sofia and began to take up music still in his childhood. His first music activities were connected with the piano, which made him win two first piano prizes. He started his DJ career in 1993 at the well known at that time disco clubs IBS, Anaconda and The hole. The mixing passion changed into a thrill and a serious occupation and he started to present himself at crack then Bulgarian clubs – Galaxy club, Amadeus, 33 Club, Rhythm, Avanty, Primo, Kapia Telegraph (Vidin), Perfect, No name (Bansko), 34 Club, Messalina (Sandanski), Criminale, Caligula (Albena), Las Vegas, Orbilux, performing prefered styles as disco, R&B and house. 1997 is the most successful year, when he got the most prestigious award ‘The 97’ commercial DJ’. He went on his DJ career at The Eye, Pri kmeta, The Place, The Library, Piccadilly (Velingrad). Meantime he performed himself as broadcaster. His appearance carried on at Rila (Borovets), Dali, Brilliantine (Sunny beach), Arrogance (Georgia), Tequila (Burgas) Plazza Disco legend, Studio 54 (Burgas) Intrigue, Relax - Sofia , Caldo - Sofia , Cabare - Sofia , Valentin - Yambol , Jim Beam - Sofia , Beach Bar FLY - Primorsko North Beach and many more, presenting styles as deep, soulfull, progressive house and old school retro music. I started the clubs scene during the 1980s and I was influenced by soul- disco, the freewheeling Jaz funk scene, emerging house, hip-hop styles and Latin . I went to my very first Southport weekender in the early 90's and then I became hooked with the house scene and I bought my first decks and started to play sets in the underground clubs and parties. I was a Part of largest pirate radio station in yorkshire sharing my passion for Funk soul- US Garage & soulful house. Thats history and this is now... Craig AKA Wilson Frisk hails from Bradford, Yorkshire in the north of England. Like many other Dj's Wilson started his musical journey collecting music as a young teenager doing compilations for his friends. In 1994 Wilson started a music fanzine called 'Jackyard Backoff' with his late friend Chris Stephenson which covered the music scene in the north of England. Around 1995 Wilson became involved with a very successful club night called 'Spice' which was his first stint at Dj'ing playing Broken Beat, Acid Jazz, Hip Hop, Soul and jazz. Although Wilson had listened and collected plenty of House music, he didnt become a full on House Dj til around 1998. Since then Wilson has firmly established himself in the House music scene holding down residencies in Bradford, Leeds and Huddersfield and been involved with infamous club nights such as Back2Funky, Uno House, Our House, Afro Coalition, Way2Funky, Wallop, GYGO and The House Of Phunk. Currently Wilson is one of the Boombox Stereo residents who play at the mighty BeatHearder Festival and part of the 4Playdjs Collective who play at the Solfest Festival in Cumbria. Recently Wilson has also turned his hand to production and is one half Of The Krate Diggaz along with Rich T who are signed to Disco Filter Records and Black Rain Records, with current releases on Traxsource.com .. Wilson is known for his smooth mixing style, taking you on a musical journey dipping in and out of all genres of House music but keeping it in his Soulful, Funky style that he renowned for! J Dovy has created his own style of “filtered house,” and “tekfunk.” Combining the two ingredients with a deep house vibe you can hear early influences by pioneers Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Shep Petibone, and Todd Terry. In 1997 J Dovy released his first track titled “Deep in Underground” on House Trade Records, under the moniker D&S. Later in 2010 he signed with various dance labels releasing more than 150 tracks on Soul Shift Music, Law Recordings, Disco Birds, Nylon Trax Records, and many others. His weekly podcast, “Burn It” consisting of deep house mixes grew a large audience with over 50,000 downloads over a three year period time, making it a total of 90 episodes. J Dovy helped put Lyon, France on the map while collaborating with other local artists and musicians. He formed Men From Nobu with fellow band mate Vartan Fau, a jazz pianist. “Nobu” is a track by Herbie Hancock, a popular musician beloved by the duo. Previous releases, were made under the names of Effendi and FueL, on Dovy’s chill out and funk label Lokossa Music. J’s second label Raw Matter Recordings caters to the more underground vibe releasing music from lesser known artists. Both labels have made boutique shop recommendations, such as Traxsource, Juno Download, also charted by DJ and producer Larry Heard. In 2014 J Dovy regrouped the two labels Raw Matter Recordings and Lokossa Music and formed dovymusic with sub labels Groove Park Records and somanymusic.

Been a DJ since 96, Played on various Prate radio Stations and London Clubs. Started Mixing oldskool House & Garage but have mixed upfront drum and bass & Liquid drum and bass in the 2000's. My heart will aways be with my oldskool house and garage though. I could never part with my collection in fact, they will be buried with me! 😁😁 I currently play Minimal, Tech, Deep, Tribal and soulful House, Amapiano, Liquid Drum & Bass as well as Old Skool House and Garage, mainly from about 1991-1998 alternatively on ChoicefmUK each and every Wednesday from 8pm-10pm (UK time) 🔈🔉🔊🎵🎶🎶🎤🎧 Apart from my family, Music Is the key to my life.
