baiodeejay was born in Milan in 1970; grew artistically between dark music and anglo-saxon psychedelia, finds his musical identification in the panorama techno and trance tied to the Detroit scene of the 90's (Damon Wild, Mix Master Morris, Ritchie Hawtin, Orlando Voorn, Jeff Mills, Tim Xavier etc). In the 2000s the his love for the new electronics and a growing interest in house music artistically they will direct him toward the minimal - house and electro mainly linked to Berlin's German scene; musical style influenced by artists like Kraftuerk, Pink Floyd, Brian Eno etc. Matured in the Milan underground scene; today is the owner of an independent record label, called Habitat Recordings L.T.D, founded in the late '90s as well as DJ of some milanese and european clubs where also performs with his crew. After a while, I started working in all major cities of Italy. I had the opportunity of working in Europe. In the late 90's I have started my adventure, as a Producer DJ. I started my career with techno music. Life can change, hope you enjoy my live mixes. After experiencing the Acid House scene in the late 80's, evolving with the sounds of Jungle & the rising Rave culture into to the 90's. DJ Thes B (real name Theron Burge) found that the Techno beat was for him. Those influences never went away. In the mid 90's life took many turns with the music always in the background. With that came changes. Enjoyment for Techno never went as these changes past by over the decades. Thes B returned to music with support & encouragement of an old friend. Playing from commercial charts, Electro, House, DnB & even the odd Reggae tune at various venues & small parties. For several years he enjoyed playing for a promotion company based in Swansea: Subversion Underground Techno, with their passion for Acid Techno (in all its forms) Thes B played 1-2-3 hour sets as the warm up for the headliner, Thes B has been able to develop his own personal style of Techno. After playing many venues Thes B played Techno for 5yrs on a weekly internet radio show Theron Live on Audiobunker.net, the last show aired 1st May 2020. Now at the ‘ripe age of 49’, his enjoyment of the music and his passion for getting the Bass on the dance-floor just keeps growing stronger. In the early part of 2014 Thes B decided to run a monthly Techno Session series. This is a 1hr mix recorded live & posted on the first day of each calendar month. After exploring different directions of electronic music from Detroit and German techno and tech-house to psy trance, hardcore and industrial, I started mixing jungle and drum’n’bass in early 2000s. Having performed in various clubs in Eastern Europe, I moved to Berlin, Germany and then continued expanding my music horizons living in India, the Netherlands and Romania. With time, my selection has expanded to a vast collection of music styles and genres, including various forms of techno and industrial, hip-hop, jungle/drum’n’bass and breakcore, big beat and breakbeat, reggae/dancehall/dub, as well as death, black and nu-metal. I currently live in Washington DC and continue mixing various directions of electronic music, in addition to working on my own material.
