Since I was very young like 7yrs old, I remember being pulled by music sounds and mixes they did in the 70s,but in 83' all it took was for my friend to lend me his turntables and boom box, started DJn in 85 and the rest has been a wonderful trip in the mix. Bboying and Chicago house trax became my influence while living in the U.S. Now, here in my country of Guatemala City in Central America, I will continue getting on the ones and twos and produce, as well as help or collaborate with whomever is interested in working with me. Sono nato musicalmente nel 1983 suonando in una radio locale della mia città di origine, San Severo, una radio storica pioniera negli anni 70 80 chiamata Radio Ulisse.Sono stato sempre un appassionato di musica elettronica, i miei gruppi preferiti erano i Rockets e i kraftwerk, ma amavo comunque tutti gli altri generi musicali. Ho continuato a suonare nella prima metà degli anni 90, su un altra radio locale, Radio Punto Network, affiancando il noto Dj della zona, Matteo Villani. Attualmente mi sono evoluto nel genere techno ed elettronica in genere. Sono stato Dj residente su una importante stazione radio web della Germania, “Star Radio Lounge”, di cui ringrazio di cuore la sua fondatrice e proprietaria, Jasmin Schroder, per avermi accolto nella sua squadra, dove ci sono importanti artisti internazionali. Hi all, I am Diana, how cool you came to read my bio! Now let me tell you about myself. I'm a Dutch DJ based in the Rotterdam aerea. Raised on the first wave of Dutch house and the euphoria of early raves, I try to channel that lived lineage into sets that sweep from deep and dramatic to propulsive and ecstatic. I love to turn those decades of dance-floor history into tightly told rhythmical stories, with tight dirty grooves and those naughty housey, tech and techno vibes. Since 2016 things moved fast: picked up by underground promoters at my first gigs, I became a regular at The Bunker, and co-founded the Ground Zero underground series. On stage it's about about music, connection and dancing which is underscribed by my credo: "Music Connects, Dancing Sets You Free" After playing the 2018 edition of Milkshake Festival Amsterdam together with the Berghain rooted and Parisian based dj collective Less Drama More Techno, I became a resident with them. Playing in Paris was a blast playing at á La Folie and Le Dépot with names like Norman Nodge, Ben Manson, Skippo and Rony Golding. Highlights of that crazy period include Club d’OR (Dordrecht) alongside Analog Kitchen & Lorenzo Foort, Ground Zero at Dolhuis, and multiple Nåchtwacht takeovers at Bibelot/Dordrecht—culminating in live events and extended livestreams that kept a scene moving when clubs were dark due to corona.
