I first discovered electronic dance music during the 80s and have been completly hooked ever since. No other music effects me on an emotional scale like edm.I learned to watch out for dance tracks that were in the charts during the 80s and record them on old cassette tapes, around the early Acid House era.My next big leap in the dance music scene was when my cousin played me a dj mix by a guy who id soon come to worship-the now legendary Goa mix by Paul Oakenfold.Amazing and my addiction grew.i listened constantly to his mixes on the Essential Mix and began searching for djs that played similar styles. That was when i discovered Sasha,John Digweed,Nick Warren and the whole Global Underground phenomena & thats when i bought my first set of decks,18yrs on,im still dj'ing and with clubbing trips to Ibiza,Aiya Napa & of course most sat nights in Belfast im still addicted.Trance and Progressive House has changed down the years but my passion for those euphoric hands in the air moments hasnt. My favourite djs are Above & Beyond,i have seen them on a number of occasions and met them twice(top blokes),Jaytech,Jacob Henry and Proff. These guys are rocking my world at the minute and their sounds have helped me through some difficult times in my life and i hope they will continue to do so.NO DANCE MUSIC=NO LIFE :-)

Since getting a pair of decks a year ago as a new hobby, I've learnt that mixing is not just a hobby. After that penny dropped, I've branched out from House, to Progressive & Balearic Trance, Electro and PsyTrance. Thanks to the heavens for the music I say. Having graduated from The Egg (808) DJ Academy, I have played in various venues in London, recently ventured over to Calgary, and now am turning my sights to other parts of the world. I love finding new ideas from odd sources and am always eager to get feedback and opinions about my tracks and mixes. So feel free to contact me either here or via www.sebastianbenson.com

bought my 1st set of decks in 92 ... Sound Lab belt drives ... good huh? lol but i, and others learnt how to mix on them and were better for having done so as other DJ's, who only ever played on technics couldn't play on anything else lol i love oldskool ... 92 is probz my fav year though i love to play 93/96 funky house Though i much prefer playing on the 1210's, i have embraced technology and will happily play on any media (CD's, USB's, Midi Controller or even just stand-alone VDJ) you can catch me playing online on alternate Sunday's on OSKP Radio from 4-5pm (UK time) www.oskp-radio.com you can also see videos of my shows on my FB page here https://www.facebook.com/tonydjtstanding main FB profile https://www.facebook.com/DJTonyStanding My youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/DJTonyStanding?feature=plcp

I started Djing in1985. The biggest influence on the music I play came from the "Hot Mix 5". Later influences came from Frankie Knuckles, Ron Hardy, Lil Louis, Fast Eddie, Bad Boy Bill, Farris Thomas, DJ Rush, Boo Williams, Glenn Underground, Steve Hurley, Larry Heard, Marshall Jefferson, Mike Dunn, and Russell Miller a.k.a. DJ 78. I LOVE MY DISCO !!! Growing up in the "Windy City" HOUSE was KING!!! It was the heart beat of the city in my teen years. Hopefully I will be able to bring back some of those memories in the mix! I'm a "House Head" forever and hopefully you will enjoy the energy I bring to House Mixes.com. It is an honor to be able to show case the spirit that I have for the music. Thank you for your support, The BMC,
