I have always been around music since those heady days of stop/start taping of pirate radio stations....(very useful for developing editing techniques.)...Early influences were moog based /synth sounds ,fat baselines,and rhythm guitar licks ,eg nile rodgers,brass construction ,fatback,bootzy collins,and of course the late great GODFATHER OF SOUL.(JAMES BROWN)...basically anything WITH FUNK!...Then came ELECTRO,again synth based sounds ,eg gary newman,kraftwerk,omd,new order........... dj..d @various underground parties,M.O.S . ibiza..GIVE/H.O.H/ TENDER/FLY/KIMBERLEY/GOLDEN DELICIOUS/SUNNY-SIDE UP/MY FRONT ROOM,MY WEDDING!DARBY&JOAN, ET AL . musical influences again very varied ,love , breaks,deep house, melodic trance,funky house,trippy d`n`b,and, and .... basically everything !! which hopefully is reflected in my tunes ! .i also must mention Laurent webb (wubble u),whom is not only a great friend ,but has helped me enormously, with regards developing my studio skills .....! luv ya......xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ; timewriter.terry lee brown.olivier lieb.roberto rodrigues.joris voorn,leftfield,way out west,orbital,and radioslave.....

Originating from sunny Bournemouth town and loving every second of dj life down on the UK South Coast is XJ. A passionate and meticulous dj whose pin point precision mixing, together with sensational tune selection has his crowds up and glued to the dance floor. XJ applies his sharp and seamless style predominantly to Drum & Bass, House, Trance and Hard Dance, but also enjoys the challenge of dabbling in other genres. XJ has had music running through his veins since birth and began getting more closely involved with music at the age of 13 when he picked up the mic and tried his hand at being an mc. After a few years on the mic XJ had the urge to mix and started messing around on a few of his friends decks. He then became a family man at an early age so XJ took some time out from the music scene and in 2005, he finally acquired his own setup. After a couple of years playing his vinyl at every chance he could get, XJ was ready to play out in his home town. He got involved with some local events and played at several Bournemouth hot spots including The Old Fire Station, Empire, Dusk till Dawn and DNA. When XJ attended university in 2010 he met a few like-minded dance music enthusiasts and together they launched their first drum and bass event Fracture in Bournemouth at the club Dusk Till Dawn. After the success of this event XJ’s passion and drive grew and the rest is history. His monthly residency at SoHo has become a regular hot spot for the local, house hungry bar hoppers. In 2017 XJ toured around Ibiza for his debut on the clubbing island, supporting the Parasol Ibiza Tour in association with Darkest Before Dawn Records. In 2018 he took his skills and sound to Ayia Napa as a resident DJ for Ayia Napa House Party hosted by House Party Events, along with house legend Junior Jack and 48 other national and international djs. In 2019 XJ returned to Ayia Napa with House Party Events alongside his fellow residents and up and coming djs Craig Knight, Franky Wah and Hot like Detroit. Next up in June 2019 will be XJs first festival slot, Home Farm Fest in Somerset, followed by his next summer booking at the largest festival in Wales: Logic Festival. The next step for XJ is production so watch this space! DJ RICHIE RICH 1 I have been a DJ for years now thanks to my mum and dad as they were DJ,s Mike K and Linda K and Sandy B of Barbarella Disco when they were younger. I used to go with them to the pubs and clubs of Southampton from the pub the Queens where I used to DJ, so i have grown up with music and being a DJ in my life. I have been on a pirate station called peoples choice radio station 25 years ago that's where I picked up my DJ name from but had to change it a bit because of main bad boy DJ Richie Rich. Iv been on a few other internet stations over the past 3 years in Southampton which was set up again peoples choice radio station and then dirty soundz FM all internet based. Sasha Skiff a.k.a.Ultraverse had his strong passion for Electronic Dance Music since his first time going clubbing to the popular London venue - club “UK” , where he falls in love with dance music scene, and the whole idea of becoming Dj and producer was born there . The major influence was Lee Burridge ,Tall Paul , Sasha and John Digweed .Without any delay he started the Sampling and Sequencing course in London . Shortly after moving to Dublin - he finishes Sound Engineering college . From that moment Dj Ultraverse started experimenting with his music and Djing in house parties . Currently Dj Ultraverse is doing regular uploads of his mixes to popular websites , and he builds loyal followers for his Dj mixes in Progressive and Deep House genre.
