GroovePunk is a DJ based in West London and the host of 'All About House' - a weekly show live on GrooveLondon Radio every Saturday 4pm - 6pm GMT. After falling in love with House music and buying his first pair of turntables over ten years ago, GroovePunk has played a variety of venues in and around London as well as on a number of Internet radio stations. Growing up just outside London in the mid to late 90s, GroovePunk witnessed the transition from the acid house era of the late 80s/early 90s to the UK/US garage and trance-heavy early 00s. This provided a highly eclectic and open view of electronic music which can be heard through GroovePunks’ sound that often blends all sub-genres of house. As a bit of a tech junkie, GroovePunk has DJed with just about every type of DJ kit released – starting with turntables, moving to CDJs, then MP3 decks and most recently software and a variety of controllers. But it’s not about the kit, it’s about the music. GroovePunks’ shows aim to deliver the finest selection of fresh House promos and underground tracks. It’s all about House.

🔥 DJ Amanda: The Queen of Remix, The Architect of the Dancefloor Inferno 🔥 DJ Amanda isn’t just a pioneer — she’s a revolution in motion. Crowned the undisputed Queen of Remix, she’s been bending genres and blowing minds since the early days of mashup culture. Her sonic alchemy turns tracks into weapons of mass euphoria: each remix a masterstroke of rhythm, surprise, and pure dancefloor ecstasy. Her signature style? Electrifying blends that fuse hip-hop swagger, Latin heat, and house energy into unstoppable bangers. DJs across the globe treat her mashups like sacred scrolls — secret weapons that ignite their sets and send crowds into a frenzy. When Amanda’s edits drop, the room doesn’t just dance — it combusts. 🌍 From underground raves to global airwaves, Amanda’s mix shows are setting the world ablaze. Her firebrand sound can be heard scorching the frequencies of: Las Jefa La Mera Mera — where she reigns supreme with fierce femme energy The Hex Files — a sonic spellbook of dark grooves and hypnotic blends Cue The Beat Radio — the launchpad for her most explosive club-ready creations Magic407 — where her remixes shimmer with pop magic and bassline sorcery Grupo Planet — her interstellar broadcast of rhythm, rebellion, and remix royalty Whether she’s flipping classics into club anthems or conjuring new hybrids from the depths of her vault, DJ Amanda is the pulse of the remix generation. She doesn’t just play music — she rewrites the rules of the dancefloor. The empress of nocturnal ecstasy. Her sets are velvet thunder, weaving deep house with desert mystique.

i started djing at 16 after months of begging the parents for months to buy me some 1210s,which i still use today going strong.my passion in music has to be old school piano, retro and vocal funky house if you cant sing to it then its no good lol.in the early nineties i started going clubbing, and for me to this day was the best for music.when i first got my 1210s i had no intension of djing in clubs it was just a hobby for and for my own enjoyment.i was actually tricked by a fellow dj and good friend who was already djing in clubs, when he phoned me up one thurday night and said he was ill and needed me to help him out and play at a bar for him,to which i found out later it was actually a dj competition to which he entered me and to my surprise i won to which the prize was residency at bradfords biggest dance club which pulled 700 to 800 in every friday and saturday night,my first night djing in the club was christmas eve which was packed out and i was shitting it,it was a big difference mixing some tracks in the bedroom and then to bid audience but i absolutely loved it and was hooked, and so my djing career was born. within the first year things went from strength to strength playing in numerous clubs all over yorkshire and holding down residencys and playing alongside some of the biggest names in the country (alister whitehead,k klass, paul taylor just to name a few) i was more known as a dj for my old school sets and so i was made a resident for retro which took me to ibiza djing at eden and loved every minute. in the mid 2000s i began working with a fellow dj (adam g) at a place called bar me which was just a bar not a club, but in the first 6 months playing there the profits soared 700% and went from a free bar and having to pay in on the door,so we sat down and thought were on to a winner here and decided to brand our own night and event, and so worship was born. our brand of night went from strength to strength holding down rooms at space, gatecrasher, visage and ethios, garlands and many more,we even ended up with our own radio show on a friday night on dvm radio (dance vinyll masters). i think the reason our night worked so well was because we didnt brand it as one style of music it was straight across the board,if it was a classic then it got played. in 2008 we decided to pull the brand as we both wanted to persue over interests,i decided to take a break from djing as it got to a stage where i stopped enjoying it and felt more of a chore going to work instead of doing something i loved. so now im back, loving my music more then ever and back on the scene :-)
