I'm Jase Crawley, 45, and I live and work in Manchester in the U of K. I've been buying records since I was 7 / 8 years old and I still haven't grown out of the habit yet. I've been making my own music, remixes, re - edits, and bootlegs for about the last 17 years, and have DJ'd since I was 17. This account represents 5 years worth of my musical output in the form of mostly DJ sets - think it must have close to 500+ mixes now, there's probably close to a hundred original tunes and re - edits etc, and loads of other stuff I've completely forgotten about. I've had 120,000 hits since my first upload to here, so big thanks for all that amazing support. Have a forage bout, and hit play, and see what happens. Hope you find something you enjoy. Jase (AKA Badfinger / JBC) Happy Listening!!!

Chris Ellis aka Wreakinsteve is also known as DJ Chris (The Beatmaster) Ellis, DJ Chris Ellis, DJBeat and also Plastic Pigeon, though DJBeat is actually the label. He was born in Bridlington which is a seaside town on the East Yorkshire coast, situated just between Scarborough and Hull. Chris now resides in a small village located just between the cities of Bradford and Halifax in West Yorkshire. He has been passionate about music since a very young age, buying his very first set of decks at the young age of 14. Chris started out mixing on KAM belt driven decks until his 16th birthday when between his Mum, pocket money and a couple of paper rounds he managed to purchase his first pair of Technics SL1210's and that’s when things started to really happen. He has done radio work and played many clubs, though more recently and due to other commitments, he has been writing electronic dance music as a hobby rather than actually mixing music. Chris feels that music is a temporary cure to all the day to day problems associated with life. He also believes that with music we can all live happily together on this planet, without violence, war and suffering. Chris started off playing what is now known as Oldskool, though back in that particular time it was actually known by various music forms including Hardcore, Rave and Jungle Techno. He was heavily involved in numerous pirate radio stations since the early 90’s including Acid FM, Multicore FM and Plasma FM which were all located in Bridlington and were very popular on the East coast, covering a semi-circle area from Bridlington spanning out as far as Scarborough and even the outskirts of Hull and York. Over the years music has become his Bible and Chris feels that without all the amazingly talented musicians, DJ’s, music producers, singers and party people of the world, both past and present, we really would be in a sorry state! He says “music can bring many cultures together within just one room, everyone putting aside their differences for a moment or two and simply enjoying the pleasures that a good tune can bring!” More recently Chris created and runs the websites DJBeat - www.djbeat.co.uk and DJBeatmaster - www.djbeatmaster.com (Feel free to go download some freebies including Producer Loops, Dance Music & DJ Mixes, plus Chris can be booked for a Party or Other Event via this site too). As the years have gone by, so has his music tastes though he has stayed firmly rooted with his oldskool classics as this was his childhood era. Chris plays House, Oldskool, Hard House, Happy Hardcore, Bounce and Trance, with Trance and Hard Trance being his chosen and most loved genre, Oldskool a close second! Many of the free tracks on DJBeat are very oldskool themed whether they are trance, house or rave tracks they are all made to have that awesome 90’s feeling rather than being current. Chris says “I wouldn’t sell my sole; the music is poor these days in comparison”. Over the years Chris has played and had residencies in various pubs, bars and clubs across Yorkshire and has even put his own nights on which he is again planning to revisit and revive in the not too distant future. Most of his DJ'ing work was put to one side at the age of 25 so as to concentrate on his day job/career as a Commercial Insurance Broker and also more recently to try and build a family. Chris now employs himself in his own Commercial Insurance Brokerage and he is a happy father too! Chris is now striving to come back with a big bang after having written and launched his very first official album on iTunes earlier in 2014. All his previous music was done for fun and to give away through the DJBeat websites. His official launch though is called CollaborNation and features 6 very talented singers; the whole album is Oldskool themed and definitely a must for any Oldskool music lover to check out and get a copy. The CollaborNation project itself took 2 years to make in Chris’s spare time and was launched on over 200 digital download sites earlier in 2014. 10 awesome tunes! 1 huge collaboration! Featuring both vocal and also instrumental version of the tracks, plus some Acapella DJ Tools and even a full Megamix of the tracks to finish it all off. Please go check out The CollaborNation Project on iTunes and other major digital distributors. So what can you expect in Chris's shows? Oldskool Rave & Piano Classics, plus maybe something a little more 'nutty' if Wreakinsteve has anything to do with it in the form of some Happy Hardcore! Or, maybe it will be Trance and Bounce or Hard House when Steve gets busy!?! Okay, so who is this Steve person!?! Wreakinsteve or Steve Cage takes the form of a gerbil and is actually a figment of Chris’s imagination, Steve also tends to take over the mixing work as the night goes on, LISTEN! and you’ll see for yourselves! It gets harder, faster and madder! It’s Wreeeeeakin Steeeve time! Proper DJ’s can ALSO mix on vinyl!!!

bought my 1st set of decks in 92 ... Sound Lab belt drives ... good huh? lol but i, and others learnt how to mix on them and were better for having done so as other DJ's, who only ever played on technics couldn't play on anything else lol i love oldskool ... 92 is probz my fav year though i love to play 93/96 funky house Though i much prefer playing on the 1210's, i have embraced technology and will happily play on any media (CD's, USB's, Midi Controller or even just stand-alone VDJ) you can catch me playing online on alternate Sunday's on OSKP Radio from 4-5pm (UK time) www.oskp-radio.com you can also see videos of my shows on my FB page here https://www.facebook.com/tonydjtstanding main FB profile https://www.facebook.com/DJTonyStanding My youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/DJTonyStanding?feature=plcp
