Exit Point's passion for the music began in the early 90s, a fan of the Madchester sound of The Stone Roses & Happy Mondays, from here, his musical tastes shifted to the underground Rave sounds of the mid 90's after being introduced to a mixtape by a friend. This led to Exit becoming an avid listener of the local pirate stations, Mix FM, Fresh FM (Leicester) & Kool FM (Birmingham). This keenness further led Exit to take up DJ'ing, initially with a pair of Soundlab belt drives & a Numark mixer. Exit got into the Jungle sound in 1994 and would buy his vinyl from the legendary 5HQ shop in Leicester.

27 years ago i bought a set of Technics 1210 turntables. I did this after my mate took me to a Warehouse Rave to see a DJ called Slipmatt. Ever since then i have practised all things DJ. To this day i still follow listen an study Slipmatt's mixtape's as well as keep regular contact with the man himself. I am always searching an digging for new tune's. I play very different genres of Rave music. What I find really hard is to find fresh New Skool breaks that i like. There is a lot of it out there but its no where near as good as the old skool rave breaks i feature on most my mixtapes. But if you are a Producer of New Skool Breakbeat's or at least a producer that can create a track with the old skool rava in mind, or you can point me onto a certain producer making New Skool Rave breaks, inbox me straight away. If it is good enough i will feature them or you on my next mixtape.
