Born "on the beat" in Montréal, to a mother who loved music and a musician father, Paul Taylor was all his father's touring Quebec. The future dj already amused himself playing percussion at the age of 4 years and he grew up loving the sounds of Gospel, Jazz, R & B, Rock, Soul, Big Band and of course Motown. Paul particularly likes the bass and he would love to play piano. This great music’s lover especially likes James Brown, The Jacksons, Earth, Wind & Fire and Prince. Greatly influenced by the late Eddie Taylor, his older brother dj himself, the first turntables on which he laid his hands were the Technics SL-1300 with its strobe tray. DJ Paul Taylor has also produced hundred cd’s where Soulful house is in the spotlight. His creations can also be heard on Facebook. The music, which is his drug of choice, and spirituality are two major drivers of his life. The artistic approach of DJ Paul Taylor aims to discover and enjoy the magic of "house music". Part of his current influences is coming from DJ Quentin Harris. Paul greatly appreciates his work. Meanwhile, DJ Paul Taylor in turn influenced a new generation of dj’s , which includes his nephew. Listeners of Radio Web ACXIT had the chance to discover the world of DJ Paul Taylor in 2012. Since July 2013 On ACXIT (www.acxit.ca), Paul presents the shows"The Land of Soulful House" and STRICTLY RHYTHM on the 3rd Friday of each month, from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m and since July 2015 In France on RADIOLANDRY(www.radiolandry.fr)
