Dark Bass Radio started in October of 2023 as a monthly that quickly evolved into a weekly show. A pair of the cheapest nastiest CD decks and a knackered old Gemini 4 Channel club mixer. 1210's in storage at the moment and some Pioneer CDJ's planned for the future. Oldskool all the way, some 99p bargain bin releases that were knocked out by the thousands and some 80 quiders that arn't that easy to find these days. I'm a house DJ who is very passionate about all forms of house, from 80's classics, right through acid, piano house & Italian, all 90's house from the superclub and superstar DJ years, right through to a lot of new upfront funky & electro house. I love a bit of the harder oldskool stuff aswell, Belgian Techno, Breaks, any banging hardcore and especially piano hardcore. I first got into DJ'ing around 1990 and bought my first set of decks in 1991, a pair of belt drive Technics copies ! ...... I've never looked back and still enjoy DJ'ing today as much as I did when I was learning. ; I've played clubs all over the North East of England and sometimes further with past gigs in Middlesbrough, Darlington, Stockton, Richmond, York, Carlisle, Blackpool, Sunderland and Nottingham. ; All the early producers from the Chicago house pioneers to the Italian piano masters such as FPI Project & 49ers.
