Greenbins career as a DJ stretches right back to warehouse parties that brought about a cultural revolution in the North of the UK in the late 80s and early 90s. He was a regular DJ at those parties, and also a resident DJ at a small, but legendary club in Blackburn called Monroes in 1990-91. From Monroes other residencies and guest spots soon followed at venues such as Sequins, Zone and Jooce in Blackpool, Angels in Burnley, Manhattan Heights and Peppermint Place in Blackburn, Quadrant Park in Liverpool, Revenge Parties, Blackburn warehouse parties, 808 State Show on Sunset FM, Maximes in Wigan, Manhattans in Southport to name just a handful. Greenbins was also an original resident DJ on Friday nights with DJ Welly at the Pleasuredrome, and was also to feature heavily when the night was moved to Trafford Park and became Life @ Bowlers. Started mixing in the late 80's,with house music like orbital,klf,8o8 state etc and the chicargo/detroit scene that was big around that time and moved right through into the beginning of Belgium techno and hardcore scene and into Jungle/ D&B from 92 onwards aswel. Would mix most styles of dance music from house to progressive, garage and big beat etc. If it had a beat and I had enough tunes for a mix id mix it. Loving the Hardcore Breaks / Nu skool Breaks scene at the moment,thats keeping the old skool scene going.I've never prepped or worked out a mix ever,just cue the first two and of i go with just the tunes laid out in front of me.This way i feel the music and vibe more and its where i get my kick,mixing the way it should be done.Will only upload a mix im sure makes the grade. I love doing mixes of megamixes too and upload them every couple of weeks or so.
