D-Vox is a dj of 15 years, influenced by artists across genres. From mixing hard trance/hard house in her bedroom, inspired by Tiesto, she then found house, techno & dnb. D-Vox is also a versatile vocalist/lyricist. She has developed a unique ability to accompany instrumental DNB, house & techno tracks within her sets with live, melodic vocals. D-Vox host her own show 'D-Vox & Guests at www.afro-disiac.co.uk every 2nd Fri of the month 10-12am. She also airs mixes every Tues (Trance), Sat (House) & Sun (Techno) on www.beats2dance.com. She has also hosted on Progressive Beats Radio, Germany & VoiceFM 103.9 Soton. In 2017 she played for 3 months in Maldives, joined the 'Darkest Before Dawn' Parasol Ibiza Tour & will be playing on the ANHP tour in Ayia Napa 2018 with her partner DJ XJ. Originating from sunny Bournemouth town and loving every second of dj life down on the UK South Coast is XJ. A passionate and meticulous dj whose pin point precision mixing, together with sensational tune selection has his crowds up and glued to the dance floor. XJ applies his sharp and seamless style predominantly to Drum & Bass, House, Trance and Hard Dance, but also enjoys the challenge of dabbling in other genres. XJ has had music running through his veins since birth and began getting more closely involved with music at the age of 13 when he picked up the mic and tried his hand at being an mc. After a few years on the mic XJ had the urge to mix and started messing around on a few of his friends decks. He then became a family man at an early age so XJ took some time out from the music scene and in 2005, he finally acquired his own setup. After a couple of years playing his vinyl at every chance he could get, XJ was ready to play out in his home town. He got involved with some local events and played at several Bournemouth hot spots including The Old Fire Station, Empire, Dusk till Dawn and DNA. When XJ attended university in 2010 he met a few like-minded dance music enthusiasts and together they launched their first drum and bass event Fracture in Bournemouth at the club Dusk Till Dawn. After the success of this event XJ’s passion and drive grew and the rest is history. His monthly residency at SoHo has become a regular hot spot for the local, house hungry bar hoppers. In 2017 XJ toured around Ibiza for his debut on the clubbing island, supporting the Parasol Ibiza Tour in association with Darkest Before Dawn Records. In 2018 he took his skills and sound to Ayia Napa as a resident DJ for Ayia Napa House Party hosted by House Party Events, along with house legend Junior Jack and 48 other national and international djs. In 2019 XJ returned to Ayia Napa with House Party Events alongside his fellow residents and up and coming djs Craig Knight, Franky Wah and Hot like Detroit. Next up in June 2019 will be XJs first festival slot, Home Farm Fest in Somerset, followed by his next summer booking at the largest festival in Wales: Logic Festival. The next step for XJ is production so watch this space! Got Into house music about 1987, didnt really know what it was until I went to Detroit Michicagan in 1991 ;to vist and wound up Moving there! Met Ken Colliier! (R.I.P.) ; Came back to Texas and Some how wound up at the Winter Music Conference in 2001( Havent been the same since) I got the opportunity to visit the Shelter in NYC 2002 LOST ;MY ;MIND! I have played in Chicago, NYC, but mainly southern states( TX, LA,TN, OK, MS, GA, FL) ; Currently im spinning in a club here in Dallas, having to change withthe hip hop times, but house is still my heart! Then one day I started to listening to some HOUSE Music and have been hook ever since. I listen to some of the legends that start it all. Like Larry Levan, Frankie Knuckles, Shep Pettibone, Steve "Silk" Hurley, Louie Vega, David Morales, Tony Moran, and one of course one of my favorites is TONY HUMPHRIES. Violinist Mayor of Grandfather of Spain and Grandma Simphonica Soprano Mayor of Coral de Mallorca. Wear Music in the Genes for them. During childhood I was raised with all the classic music of all time, with my grandfather used to play lead orchestras and musicians with a rod Conductor. 6 years since I started listening to Musica Electronica. as Tecnotronic, No Limits, Ace of Base, Klf, almost all electronics that were in those times was House Vocal people of color. And at age 10 I was given a Technics Discman Exitos all who had taken up that day Faithless, SUNDAY 8 pm and REVERENCE. They are my pillars in the world of Electronica. with songs like INSOMNIA, SALVE MEA, GOD IS A DJ. With FAITHLESS learned to value in its SENSES LIFE and be a better person at all, and now as a DJ PRODUCER. Life can change, hope you enjoy my live mixes. After experiencing the Acid House scene in the late 80's, evolving with the sounds of Jungle & the rising Rave culture into to the 90's. DJ Thes B (real name Theron Burge) found that the Techno beat was for him. Those influences never went away. In the mid 90's life took many turns with the music always in the background. With that came changes. Enjoyment for Techno never went as these changes past by over the decades. Thes B returned to music with support & encouragement of an old friend. Playing from commercial charts, Electro, House, DnB & even the odd Reggae tune at various venues & small parties. For several years he enjoyed playing for a promotion company based in Swansea: Subversion Underground Techno, with their passion for Acid Techno (in all its forms) Thes B played 1-2-3 hour sets as the warm up for the headliner, Thes B has been able to develop his own personal style of Techno. After playing many venues Thes B played Techno for 5yrs on a weekly internet radio show Theron Live on Audiobunker.net, the last show aired 1st May 2020. Now at the ‘ripe age of 49’, his enjoyment of the music and his passion for getting the Bass on the dance-floor just keeps growing stronger. In the early part of 2014 Thes B decided to run a monthly Techno Session series. This is a 1hr mix recorded live & posted on the first day of each calendar month.
