Started djing in the winter of 2014 shortly after my daughter was born , Teaching myself the basic through youtube videos and getting some advice from some of my dj friends i have managed to great something different from the rest . I play a wide variety of genres and dont usually stick to just one genre in the night , Started mixing electro /electro house then moving into complextro and dutch house , start of 2016 i moved into nu skool / electro breaks for most of the year and settling the rest of the year playing minimal ,techno, Brazilian bass , dark minimal , prog , bass house ,deep house ,hi tech minimal and g house

Music has been at the centre of my life for as long as I can remember and im confident to say its shaped who I am today. From a very young age I was very much into Syththesized music , especially Jean Michelle Jarre (one of my all time heroes). Along side this I loved early electro house and Detroit techno so naturally , was blown away with the late 80’s acid house explosion and even more so by the early 90’s Rave explosion, and this is where my passion really set in. I first went on a pair of decks at the tender age of 9 years old (1991), and around this time got 1xdeck for Christmas, now….clearly you don’t have to be a dj to understand that this is useless for mixing, but, for beatmatching, this was the best thing you could imagine! Id beatmatch vinyls to tapes,or anything that was playing in the house,and by the time I got my 2nd deck and mixer at 12years old, the learning curve of beatmatching was already mastered! Now, musically , im predominantly Hardcore, always have been, from early breakbeat hardcore right through to todays sounds. Ive loved the evolution of the sound and have the same passion for the sound as I did 20 years ago. Trance was a major influence for me in the 90’s too , especially Paul Oakenfold/Sasha/Digweed to name a few….their ability to seamlessly blend tracks together over the course of an hour or so and leave me feeling like id been on a musical journey really inspired me and applied this same technique to everything I mixed. Today, I concentrate mainly on Uk Hardcore and Hard dance, which while im “here” must mention how impressed and inspiring I find hard dance at the mo , from the techy minimal sounds right through to the tough hardstyle sounds of Europe, I feel this scene has got a lot to offer and has something for everyone. Im loving the Hard dance scene as a whole at the moment, whether it be Breakbeats/Kickdrums/trancey/ravey/techy/fast/slow…..the scene in my eyes is as diverse as its ever been, whatever others may think! Music is a way of life!

Been mixing dance music since 1993 and started with happy hardcore, have literally gone thru most genres and sub genres in the dance music umbrella! I love playing oldskool tunes i grew up with be it happy hardcore, progressive house, trance, hardhouse or hardtrance. I play current progressive trance and progressive psytrance. I'll also play some oldskool house, progressive trance and progressive house tunes. I have now got my own gear and have invested in the CDJ 2000 Nexus decks and the DJM 2000 Nexus mixer It's awesome gear and i can't wait to get stuck into making new mixes!

Lady Brock, DJ and Designer from Hertfordshire, Biography Lady Brock aka Claire Brocklesby, is a multi genre DJ and Producer from Hertfordshire, UK. Lady Brock burst into the scene in 2009, working alongside many DJs and promoters up and down the country she now has a vast Booking history and has played at events such as High Voltage, Hardcore Rapture, Scars Powder Room, Hardcore Breakdown, X-treme energy, Ballistic Beats, Hardcore Pulse ,Hardcore Addiction, Hyperbolic, Fragment, BPM and White Noise HQ . These are just to name a few. Some genres you will find her playing include: House (Deep, Tech, Progressive, Funky, Electro) Dubstep, Drumstep, Drum and bass Hardcore (UK, Freeform, Oldschool, Gabber) Hardhouse, Bounce, Hardstyle Lady Brock is well known for playing and Producing Hardcore but after attending a big house event at Ally pally her taste changed and House music became her genre of choice. She stopped playing hardcore and took a keane interest in the house scene. Then came a break as she had her baby boy. Jadon is now 16 months old and she is ready to get going again hence joining the Freekfm family. She has played alongside DJ Lady Bimma and Ema Lou DJ on several occasions and now she is taking on her own show Fridays 12-2pm Her style of music both within producing tracks and mixing live always shows her diversity in taste. She likes many genres and draws influences in from hard trance, house and electro and drum and bass. Having a varied taste in music has helped her progress into the style she has today in wanting to be that little bit different from the normal taking you on a journey within her mix. When Lady Brock isn’t in the studio or behind the decks she still likes to dedicate her life to her music through designing fliers for events as well as logos, stationary or any thing else you an think of. During the week her full time job is a graphic designer working for the council and freelance she makes print flyers, eflyers, logos, banners, corporate identities including business cards and stationary, adverts of any kind and illustrations.
