Started DJing in 1987 with the all-time standard Technics 1200's along with a Numark mixer. I soon discovered the beauty of mixing on a rotary mixer (Urei 1620) a few years later. As the years past, I started trying and eventually moving through various rack mountable dual CD players and then CD turntables including Denon DN2000, DN9000, DN5000's, Technic DZ1200's, and of course CDJ-1000's. I switched from my Urei 1620 mixer to a Pioneer DJM-800 (and added the rotary kit). With regards to software, I started using Serato in 2007 but once I used Traktor I switched and haven't looked back.

I have been listening to and collecting PsyTrance for about 10 years now. I started listening to PsyTrance when I was 12 years old. A lot of these mixes have tracks in them that I have been saving for years. I am using VDJ and keyboard and mouse right now so my mixes are far from perfect but imperfection is perfection. Hi everyone, I'm Simon Merrall and I'm 27 born and bred right here in MK. I first got into music when I was 10 learning to play several instruments including Bass, Piano and Drums. I first started DJ'ing a few years ago learning from scratch watching many of my friends and videos picking up different styles and techniques along the way from many people who have helped and encouraged me. I've learned to appreciate many genres of music but the stand outs for me are Deep House, Trance, Progressive and Electro House.
